Apple Crisp*
I’ve been a bit AWOL in the blogging world as of late. Between the beginning of my baton twirling classes, a husband who was sick for three weeks, and an issue with my neck last week, I’m afraid blogging has taken a bit of a back seat. Never fear, I’ll be getting back to some regular posts again.

GAPS Friendly Food
Last week a few of us from the Boulder area who are doing GAPS met up together. It was quite fun to meet a few other GAPSters in person! We were able to share some food together, our stories about how we found GAPS and why we’re doing the diet, and helpful tips.
I think we all enjoyed spending time with others who are doing the same diet. It’s easy to feel like you’re all on your own most of the time. It was especially helpful for me since everyone else is much farther along on the diet. I definitely benefited from their experience and helpful ideas! This was good timing after feeling so overwhelmed earlier in the week. The other helpful part for me was figuring out what was going wrong with my kefir. I’m happy to say the advice I received did the trick and my kefir is now back on track.

If you’re doing the GAPS diet, I’d highly suggest organizing a get together. We were fortunate to have someone willing to suggest the idea on both the GAPS yahoo group and our local WAPF Boulder Chapter yahoo group and get it all organized. It was lots of fun and I look forward to our next get together!
