Yesterday marked six months on GAPS. It’s actually hard to believe it’s been that long already. That first month or so on intro seemed to stretch into eternity at times. And now, looking back, the time has passed quite quickly!
As I shared in my review of my first three months on GAPS, this way of eating is definitely my new normal. While it is definitely challenging still at times, I feel like I have more of a rhythm and routine again as far as meal preparation goes. One of the hardest parts at the beginning of this adventure was not having any go-to meals to rely upon on a regular basis. Everything was so new, it often felt like a struggle to come up with meals each week. While I continue to try a variety of new dishes, it’s comforting to know I have some regulars I can turn to as well.
