Yes on Prop 37 Giveaway: Eco Cleaning Supplies

Eco-Me Family Pack Cleaning Supplies

Enter to win this family pack of cleaning supplies from Eco-Me!

I can’t tell you how honored and proud I am to feature this giveaway on my blog. Not only is labeling genetically modified foods (GMOs) a critical issue facing our food choices, I am so excited to be able to share these fantastic eco-friendly cleaning supplies with you.

Choosing Cleaning Supplies

Years ago when I first started making the switch to real food, I realized that all of my cleaning products were full of toxins that I didn’t want to expose myself and my family to.  I started exploring natural alternatives to my usual cleaning supplies.

I wish I had known about Eco-Me when I was first making the switch.  These products were created out of the desire to reduce the toxic load when Robin Kay Levine’s sister was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35.

Here’s a quick description of the quality of their products from Eco-Me’s website:

Eco-Me is a natural products company specializing in you. Really!  We care about the health of your home, family and pets.

Eco-Me was born out of need and concern. The need to remove dangerous chemicals from our homes and environment and the concern that the toxins emitted from every day products has encouraged the rapid increase of disease in our society.  Eco-Me products can be found in stores across the US and Canada as well as online at

That’s why we created natural cleaning, pet and personal care products using ingredients you can find right in your kitchen, like vinegar, baking soda and olive oil.

The ingredients are so simple, you’ll think to yourself or sing out loud, “I could make this myself!”
AND you can, we can even help you with that, simply use our easy DIY kits so you can make your own natural products right at home. Fresh, Healthy and Non-Toxic, now that is green!

  • Eco-Me products are made in the USA.
  • No Animal Testing or Animal bi-products are used in Eco-Me products.
  • Eco-Me products are PETA & Leaping Bunny certified.
  • Eco-Me natural cleaning products are rated GREEN TOP TIER by Whole Foods Market Eco Scale.
  • Eco-Me products follow guidelines set by Natural Products Association (NPA).

prop-37Yes on Prop 37 Giveaway: Eco Cleaning Supplies ($25 value)

Right now, organic is under attack in this country. Our only hope for getting genetically modified (GMO) foods labeled is happening RIGHT NOW in California. Next month, California voters are getting the chance to vote to label GMOs. The initiative is called Proposition 37.

Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, the opposition (Monsanto, Dupont, et al) have raised over $20 million to try to sway Californians to vote no on Prop 37.

We need to raise money to tell the truth about the dangers of GMOs — on TV commercials, billboards, etc. — and get Californians out on November 6th to VOTE YES on PROP 37.

To help raise funds for Yes on Prop 37, Eco-Me has generously donated a family pack of cleaning supplies.  The set includes one of each of the following:

  • Bill: All-Purpose Cleaner (32 oz)
  • Phil: Toilet Bowl Cleaner (32 oz)
  • Dave: Floor Cleaner (32 oz)
  • Emma: Laundry Soap (32 oz, up to 64 loads)
  • Suzy: Dish Soap (16 oz)
  • Emily: Scrub Cleanser (16 oz)

  1. Tabitha says:

We have the right to know what we are putting in our bodies! I avoid GMO foods for my family, but it is so difficult when they are not labeled. We NEED labeling!

  2. Lisa says:

I support Prop 37 because labeling has the ability to raise overall awareness about GMO’s in the culture at large. It is such a veiled issue that is wholly unrealized by the culture at large, except for the small circles who are knowledgeable and passionate about the dangers surrounding GMO’s. I think increased awareness in the general culture will lead to a greater outcry against GMO’s to the benefit of ALL people!

  3. Suzy D. says:

we have a right to know what’s in our food!

  4. Julie says:

as others have mentioned we definitely have a right to know what’s in our food
if I lived in Calfornia I would vote for it

  5. Sarah H says:

Please label GMOs! I’ve healed my body with whole, nutritious foods and don’t want to take a chance that GMOs are just fine. We don’t know the impact they will have on our environment or our bodies yet.

  6. Your blog name isnt on the thing to check. I totally support prop 37! We have the right to know what we are putting in our bodies. The consumer needs to know what they are eating to heal!

    • Mindy says:

I’m seeing it between, Empowered Sustenance and Ditch the Wheat, Amanda. Can you double check on your end? Unfortunately, they’re not in alphabetical order!

      • Amanda says:

It must be the sleep deprivation but I don’t see those either! AHH. This is what I see.

I think I figured out what’s happening, Amanda! You’ll need to hover over the the list and keep scrolling. There are quite a few more blogs to choose from, plus a couple more questions. Hope this helps!

  7. Sonya Nelson says:

With my already super challenging health issues, the last thing I need is to eat foods that have been genetically modified. Wy not label these foods? Then I can make my own educated decision about what I put in my body. I feel this will also push more companies to choose to make their products using non-GMO crops. I’m excited for the outcome! My husband and I are voting Yes on Prop 37!

  8. Rachel says:

I support Yes on Prop 37 because I believe we have the right to know what is in our food. The U.S. is way behind in this and it is unacceptable.

  9. Holly says:

I support Prop 37 because I want to know what I am eating!

  10. Jennifer says:

I want to know what I am feeding my family. It is my choice and my rights as a consumer to know what I am buying. Label our food!

  11. Beth Knoll says:

These cleaning products look amazing. And go Prop 37! I can’t believe this is even a battleground. It’s not rocket science — just tell us what’s in our food. (And don’t tell us what to feed our kids, thank you very much. We tried that, and it’s been a disaster.)
