Welcome to the inaugural Fill Those Jars Friday blog carnival! I’m excited to see what everyone has to share today.
Eating real food means we have lots of jars to fill with all sorts of homemade goodies. Today is when we share all sorts of real food recipes, tips, and thoughts to help each other fill our jars.
I’ll be choosing a few of my favorite posts each week to share in The Reading Corner each Tuesday. Be sure to check back and see if you were selected!
Just follow the instructions below before linking up your post. Not a blogger? No problem! We’d all love to hear your ideas in the comments.
Fill Those Jars Friday Guidelines
1. Real food only. – No artificial ingredients or processed food. If you need help with the types of ingredients for your recipes and tips, you can read this guide put out by the WAPF.
2. Link back to this post from your post. – This is a common courtesy at a blog carnival and helps share everyone’s posts. Also be sure you use the actual URL of the post you are sharing here and not your homepage.
3. Leave a comment. - We all want to hear about what you’re sharing in the comments. Also be sure to check out the other blogs that have linked up.

Hooray for your new blog carnival. Thanks for hosting!
I’ve left an easy and nourishing recipe for Creme Brulee. So good. So so good.
Thanks for joining in, Robin! That looks so delicious!
So glad I saw this on FB . . . I never see things posted on there anymore the way they have it set up. I posted three. Hope that’s ok. Thanks for the new linky party.
I posted fermented cucumber ‘kraut’, chocolate mousse-like ice cream, and curried tuna cakes which are so yum.
Hi Jen! Thanks for stopping by.
I’m glad you saw it, too. Facebook is so hard to reliably see everyone’s page updates anymore! You were on my list to invite to this anyways (slowly working through it!)
Thanks for sharing all of your yummy recipes! I need to try your cucumber ‘kraut’, mine are starting to pile up a bit!
Looks good Mindy! I’m already all over those curried tuna cakes and cucumber kraut. They’re coming out of my ears too (yay! says the giddy new gardener), and I want to put up something besides pickles.
Since we’re working on filling those jars, how about filling them with some healing herbs to stock up for the cold winter months? You would not believe what can be found in a suburban lawn…

Thanks for sharing, Jennifer! (And I agree about the curried tuna cakes & cucumber kraut!). Love you foraging in your own backyard.
I posted my weekly menu plan! It has a few links to recipes that I use!
Thanks, Reb! Now I need to go make my own menu plan for the week…
Yay for your blog carnival! I am happy to participate!

Thanks for linking up, Sarah!
Thanks for the link up! I LOVE real food link ups. This is where I get so many amazing ideas. Today I linked my stuffed spaghetti squash recipe. My husband and toddler both liked it (this is a big deal).
Thanks for stopping by, Amanda! I get so many ideas from link ups, too. Speaking of which, I love the idea of stuffed spaghetti squash. I’m going to have to give that a try!
Thanks for hosting! This looks like a great new carnival and I appreciate you stopping by and inviting me over! Love the selection of recipes! Yum!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing, Jessica!
Hi Mindy, so happy to join in the fun here! I’m sharing my Peachy Chicken Salad. I have bookmarked it so that I remember to stop by each week. Thanks for hosting and have a great weekend!.
Thanks for linking up, Debbie! I look forward to seeing you next week.
I posted two:
Your Heart ♥ Lard and the tomato soup. The first one is for our friends and family who haven’t come around to our way of thinking and the second is just a nummy real food recipe. GAPS legal.
Thanks for sharing, Tamara! I never seem to think of making tomato soup. I’m going to have to do that this week!
I am so excited about your new carnival and privileged to participate – Thanks!
I shared “Egyptian Lentils” and “Lemon Frozen Yogurt”
Thanks for joining in, Dina-Marie!
I just found your wonderful link up and shared my Garden Harvest Scramble post. I love when I find more real food blogs to check out all the wonderful recipes and try new things for our family, thank you for hosting!
Thanks for linking up, Annie! I’m so glad to have you join us. Real food blog carnivals are so fun.
Thanks for hosting – I left the post about raising backyard chickens…
Heather
Thanks for sharing, Heather! One of these days it would be fun to have backyard chickens. I guess I need to get a backyard first!
We blogged about our ridiculously easy raw yogurt smoothie recipe. Thanks for hosting!
